The charm is made of sterling silver coated copper wire with an anti tarnish finish. It has a sterling silver fill chain with a brass core and an anti tarnish finish to keep it nice and shiny. The necklace is water resistant and will last a long time. If tarnish occurs simply gently polish with a jewelry cloth.
