Flow Massage Therapy

Welcome to Flow Massage Therapy

At Flow Massage, I believe healing happens best when you’re in tune with your body and the natural world around you.

My style of bodywork is slow and intentional- I utilize myofascial release, deep tissue, stretching, and trigger point therapy to leave you feeling looser and lighter.

Flow Massage is a welcoming space where all bodies can feel grounded, supported, and free to move.

Therapeutic Massage

A results driven but still relaxation focused massage utilizing medium to firm pressure. I believe Therapeutic massage works best when the nervous system is fully able to let go. Therapeutic massage is great if you are suffering from any sort of muscular pain. It is perfect for relieving chronic shoulder and back tension.

I use my anatomy and kinesiology knowledge to holistically work through the areas causing you tension, and techniques to release muscle adhesions and mobility constriction with out leaving you sore for days.

Sports Massage

Whether you are hiking rugged trails, biking backcountry roads, climbing crags, or training for your next race, your body is your most important gear. At Flow Massage, I specialize in sports massage tailored to the unique demands of outdoor athletes.

Sports massage is a targeted, therapeutic approach designed to improve performance, prevent injury, and support faster recovery. It helps increase circulation, reduce muscle tension, and improve mobility.

Sports Massage is best when targeting 1-3 specific areas, and focuses on stretching and deep tissue techniques. It is preformed at a faster place and is not quite as relaxing as a Relaxation or Therapeutic Massage.

Sports Massage is preformed fully clothed so please arrive in loose/ stretchy clothing.

Whether you are preparing for a big push or recovering after one, sports massage can be an essential part of your outdoor lifestyle. We're here to help you stay in flow—on the trail, on the rock, or wherever nature takes you.

Relaxation Massage

Let your stress and tension melt away with this massage. A reset button for your nervous system. This massage utilizes light to medium pressure and Swedish massage techniques to fully relax and destress the body.

Why I Started Flow Massage – A Journey from Trail to Table

In the summer of 2024, I completed a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. Over the course of 2,000+ miles, I experienced firsthand what it means to live in full connection with your body and the natural world. I also learned the hard way how essential recovery and intentianal care are for endurance, mobility, and overall well-being.

Days on trail were beautiful but brutal. Tight calves, aching shoulders, overworked hips, and general fatigue. What got me through wasn't just determination, but the small rituals of care: stretching, trail-side massage, and the support of a community that understood what it meant to move through something hard.

That journey planted the seed for Flow Massage. I wanted to create a space for fellow adventurers, runners, and climbers to tune into their bodies with the same kind of presence and care. A place where performance and recovery meet nature, where every session helps you return to your flow—whatever your trail looks like.

Flow Massage is my way of continuing that hike, by walking alongside others in their own outdoor pursuits. I want to offer the same kind of support that carried me from Georgia to Maine.

My Journey as Massage Therapist

My journey into the wellness industry began as an esthetician. I attended Aveda Institute, where I discovered a passion for holistic health and skincare. After graduating, I worked at two high-end resorts, which helped me build confidence and refine my skills in a professional setting. These opportunities also took me to Colorado and Montana, where I fell in love with nature and outdoor recreation—a lifestyle that continues to inspire me.

Wanting to expand my skill set, I decided to pursue massage therapy. By this time, I had relocated to Greensboro, North Carolina, and enrolled in an intensive 700-hour program at Kneaded Energy School of Massage. It quickly became clear that I had found my true calling. I was fascinated by anatomy and kinesiology and energized by the immediate, positive impact I could make in my clients' lives.

Following graduation, I continued my career at Kneaded Energy, where I had the privilege of working alongside experienced professionals who further shaped my practice. I gained hands-on experience at numerous events, including races and the NCAA Swimming Championships, which deepened my interest in sports massage.

Over time, I’ve grown to specialize in specific, therapeutic, and intentional massage work. I genuinely enjoy problem-solving with clients—listening to their concerns, identifying the root of the issue, and watching their progress from session to session. Helping people feel better in their bodies and reclaim their well-being is what drives me every day.
